I bought three books and this one was OK

I personally didn’t like this book, even though a good friend of mine had recommended it. It has a lot of the info that you either already know, or you got in the literature you doc of hospital gave you, or you can easily find free, online.

I didn’t really use the information that was in the book but I thought the book was okay. I guess my instincts just kicked in after my daughter was born. The book is perfect for those OCD’s like me

When I first read this book a few months ago, I was really impressed with the wealth of information it contained. However, now I am really concerned about the information provided about some of the more controversial topics such as breastfeeding and vaccinations. I can’t help but feel that the author was paid off by formula and vaccine companies. I recommend Baby 411 only to parents who will do their own independent research regarding the “hot topics” discussed in it.

So far the most succinct, easy-to-use, informative reference book for new baby. The info appears to be very up to date — unlike some of the other books on the market that actually have misinformation that can harm baby — and the tone of the book is very helpful and direct. It’s great for reading front to back to prepare you for what’s ahead, and even moreso an excellent spot reference book for the up-to-the-minute problems encountered.
